Opsly ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Leroy Tellez and provides an AI-powered phone answering and customer communication service for small businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you interact with our services, including when you call a business that uses Opsly's AI receptionist or when you receive SMS text messages from our platform on behalf of our business clients.

By calling a phone number serviced by Opsly or by providing your phone number during a call handled by our AI assistant, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information in the course of providing our services:

  • Information provided during phone calls — Your name, phone number, the content of your conversation, zip code or location when provided, and email address if voluntarily given.
  • Automatically collected information — Call metadata (date, time, duration, direction), call transcripts generated by our speech-to-text system, and AI-generated call summaries.
  • Information from business clients — Business contact information, service offerings, pricing, and scheduling preferences provided by the business owner to configure their AI receptionist.
  • Information from web form submissions — Name, email address, phone number, business type, and any information submitted through our contact form at myopsly.ai, including SMS and marketing consent.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Providing the service — To answer calls, respond to customer inquiries, schedule appointments, and take messages on behalf of our business clients.
  • SMS notifications — To send text message confirmations, appointment reminders, or follow-up information when consent has been provided.
  • Business client reporting — To provide our business clients with call summaries, transcripts, and appointment details.
  • Service improvement — To improve the quality, accuracy, and performance of our AI assistant.
  • Compliance — To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

4. SMS Text Messaging

Opsly may send SMS text messages to phone numbers provided during calls or via web form submission. These messages are sent on behalf of the business you contacted and may include appointment confirmations, call follow-ups, or information you requested.

SMS messages are sent only when you provide consent — either verbally during a phone call handled by our AI assistant, or by checking the SMS consent checkbox on our website form at myopsly.ai. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

5. Information Sharing & Disclosure

  • With the business you called — Call summaries, transcripts, your contact information, and appointment details are shared with the business client whose phone line you called.
  • Service providers — We use third-party services to operate our platform, including cloud hosting, AI processing, telephony, and scheduling. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual data protection obligations.
  • Legal compliance — We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain call transcripts, summaries, and contact information for as long as necessary to provide our services to the business client, typically for the duration of their active subscription plus 90 days. If you would like your personal information removed, please contact us at the address below.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, opt out of SMS communications (reply STOP), or request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below.

9. Children's Privacy
